Alhaurin el Grande    

Alhaurin el Grande is a town that has origins form the Arabian word meaning ALMIGHTY GOD. This town is in the province of Malaga, Andalucia and 25 Kilometers form the capital city of Malaga and 20 Kilometers from Malaga International Airport. This idyllic town sits on an elevation of 239 meters above sea level and has a surface area of 73 Km2 and approximately 23,500 inhabitants.

The village of Alhaurin el Grande was named by the Moors as "Garden of Allah” for its beauty and is very popular amongst tourists and golf travellers.

Alhaurin El Grande It is one of the most picturesque villages in the Guadalhorce river valley. Sitting centrally between Marbella and Malaga, there are excellent transport routes to all major towns along the Costa Del Sol. The village is approximately 15 kilometers from the beaches of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola.

In addition, the Ojen road offers direct access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepoa and Gibraltar.

The town of Alhaurin el Grande enjoys the Mediterranean weather which combines hot summers with warm winters. Nestled between the sea and the mountains, temperature's can reach average temperature's of 32 degrees centigrade in the summer months and 8 degrees centigrade in the winter months.
